    2. Jim- If you are the list admin of the list do you maybe have your admin page bookmarked with the password added to the link? If so maybe your browser completed the URL but wouldn't for anyone else. OR maybe you can ACCESS the admin page but not take ANY actions...if so, no harm done. Out of the box MailMan does allow users to access certain information and take some actions for their own subscription but that "feature" has been disabled on RootsWeb.     3. One of the lists I subbed to is not presently adminned. I was taken to the tools page where I could change anything I wanted to. The other "Braun" is adminned by someone else and I was in position to change anything, again, that I wanted to, including the admin address. This is not lists I already admin but those adminned by someone else or available for adoption. Try it! Subscribe to a list of your choice. When you click the link to confirm your subscription, click on "LISTNAME administrative interface" and see what happens.
