    3. Anne, I know you and your colleagues are busier than anyone wants to be, but what are the chances of removing the OLD footers we all put at the bottom of our lists prior to 1 March? The information is not only conflicting with Mailman 3, but as of 1 March it is actually WRONG. I am about to begin writing a note to my lists as you asked us to do, but after twenty years as a List Admin I just know what is going to happen when I become a List OWNER and tell everyone there is a new set of rules and procedures to follow when I HAVE MANY OF THE OLD RULES STILL AT THE BOTTOM OF LIST POSTS. PLEASE give it some thought. I am about to start sending the NEW info and links to folks now, but I hope all of them will FORGET THE OLD RULES WE ARE STILL POSTING ON LIST MAIL. Ole saying (cleaned up version) that I learned in the Marine Corps --> "When you are up to your *** in alligators, it makes it impossible to keep your mind on the fact your primary mission is to drain the swamp." Thank you Anne. David

    3. Why are you caught up on differentiating between List Admin and List Owner? We've been called List Owners here at Rootsweb since before I first picked up a list many years ago now. What do you perceive has changed? I can't work out if I've missed something or not. Wendy On Sun, Apr 8, 2018 at 6:56 AM, David E. 3. They are the exact same thing. I've noticed people using both, but the system has Owner, Moderator, Subscriber.
