I asked earlier about why messages gatewayed from the board never make it to the list after being approved. They were held for not being a subscriber. I think I found the reason. The actual message from the board is an html attachment. I'm thinking messages with attachments are just deleted even though they are approved. To test this theory, I'm going to send message to a list with an attachment and see what happens. Gene
Hey Gene, Anne told us that the gateways were being closed and would go away for good. Attachments should never be sent to a Rootsweb list and if they go through, that is a bug. Gene, When looking at banned addresses for one of my lists, I noticed that the gateway address was on the banned list. If the gateway is supposed to be turned off, that would be ok, but if not, that is stopping the gateway messages. Marleen Van Horne
