    3. Hi Nivard There's nothing barring subscribers who buy or sell on the Gen-Materials lists from using PayPal. Using PayPal would be something I would encourage. As far as knowing if lists exist, it's a pity that the NEW-GENLIST seems to have fallen by the wayside. That was a wonderful way of keeping informed about lists. * * * * * * David, you noted in a private message to me that the messages on the Gen-Materials lists all seem to be from sellers. Since others may be interested, I'll answer here: That's because on all of the lists subscribers are asked to make arrangements for purchases off list. 3. Hi again Yes I know people can use Paypal without going through Ebay, I do myself, but what I was saying is that the person has to arrange this themselves and may have no easy way of getting the money back if there was a problem, going through Ebay you have better protection that was my point And if as you suggested, someone is averse to buying and selling online they are unlikely to have a paypal account Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 16/02/2013 17:56, Lynne wrote: > > Hi Nivard > There's nothing barring subscribers who buy or sell on the Gen-Materials > lists from using PayPal. I won't have one but I do occasionally use PayPal, mainly where there's no alternative. -- Charani (UK) OPC for Walton, Ashcott, Shapwick, Greinton and Clutton, SOM http://wsom-opc.org.uk
