And if I'm looking for that "somebody", I will subscribe to the list in that County which I know or suspect he was from. That is the point of subscribing to a mailing list, you are looking for ancestors in a specific location. But if someone is having some sort of jamboree in some other county or location, if I was really interested, I'd hear about it, I don't want it plastered all over every single mailing lists that I'm subscribed to.
