    3. I recognized this guy. He's a database thief. USGenWeb Project has been after him for that. Notorious spammer, too. The only objective he has was to generate revenue from ads for himself. 3. About a month ago, several of my lists were hit badly by spammers, one right after another. I finally put all of my major lists on moderation. And even though it's extra work for me, I'm glad I did because just as I was thinking about removing the moderation on a couple of them, there's another bunch of spam that's being sent, but luckily, it's not reaching the lists. There's something about holidays that seem to be setting off these lunatics, they must have really crappy lives. 3. I must be a pushover as I went to the link in the OP's post to see a list of sites and a message This website is dedicated to making Irish ancestry research as free as possible. they all seemed to me to be quite useful sites with no apparent commercial implication. 3. Yes, Tom, You are a pushover. For example, He has taken some of the work that I put on Rootsweb on my list and included it on his site with no indication of the source, except that Rootsweb shows. He is somewhat like the guy who copies your paper in school without your knowledge. He then sells the site to advertisers and makes money off our work. It's shameful. Not your usual spammer, but in a way far worse.
