I finally had time to do what I wanted to do this morning and search the LO archives for the time when we migrated over to MailMan from SmartList...see: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/listowners/2006-08/1155408135 Read the entire thread...you will see that since around Aug.-Oct. 2006 when the lists gradually migrated over to MailMan that subbing the same address more than once was no longer possible...you will also see that those subbed in both L and D modes under SmartList were migrated over to L mode ONLY. I went in to list-admin to unsub a bouncing lister, and noted an awful lot of tic marks, including what I thought were the -L and -D columns where both were marked. I thought it was different, but said, oh what the hey, if the system's happy, and the subscriber's happy, I'm happy and went on about my biznuss. I'll go back to my unscheduled nap now.
