    3. David & List, Something is very suspect with this Patricia Wartell. I put the list to require approval for subscribing. Then put her address on ban list since she was suspect by several & saved changes. When I go out of tools back to my acct page back to specific list her address is no longer in the ban list. How can that be? The one for content-type is still listed there. Thanks, Lynne On Wed, Jan 16, 2013 at 9:04 PM, W David Samuelsen <dsam52@sampubco.com> wrote: > first one - clearly there's a spammer with bad database of email > addresses to spam with. > > second one - she got hacked. > > David Samuelsen > > On 1/16/2013 7:57 PM, Lynne Leflore-Trammel wrote: >> I just had 2 requests come in together for subscribing. 3. " How can that be?" Maybe you forgot to save it before it left the page? 3. Hi Lynne, The first one, clearly suspect. In the case of the second (Patricia WARTELL) what do you mean by 'came in for subscribing'? If it came to your '-request' address with 'subscribe' in the subject and/or body, then I would think it unlikely to be a spammer or similar. Perhaps approve the request but place the address on moderation.
