Joan Young is correct. I too was sub to several lists in both L and D modes. When the lists were converted to Mailman, all the duplicates were combined into a single subscription in the L mode. The duplicates were identified by the email address. Subscriptions in the same list with the same email address were reduced to one subscription with that email address. That is when I got different email addresses so I could subscribe myself to the same list in L and D mode. This is what happened on all my Mailman lists.
