    3. Talking with a fellow list owner via email last night, I learned that they had been trying for several months to regain access to admin their lists but got no response from help at Rootsweb. If anyone is interested at this late date I can publish as list of lists she is giving up - these are mostly surnames, some non US lists, some not sure what they are nor time to look them up. Tim

    3. If people set up a group on groups.io, sub to the Rootsweb list and announced how to subscribe to the new home. For instance, I did such with surnames in my tree that I didn't already list admin for. I have done the same for lists for admins like this person who didn't want to admin anymore or felt let down by Rootsweb again. Does that help? 3. Okay. I see you reasoning. I'm not creating any more lists, but others sure can. If you want too. 3. Not quite. First, they're not reactivating any old lists, even if you were or want to be the owner, as of a week or two ago. Second, it is no longer possible to put a new message into the list / archives. The ONLY thing that can be done is to create a new place for the List (such as on Groups.io) and then Rootsweb MAY still be asked to post the Groups.io group website URL at the top right of the old RootsWeb List Archives as the "new place to go" for continuing the discussions. That what I did. Regards - Glen C.
