    2. I have seen similar problems on my GCSGA Mailing list, with about 10 out of 50 users not getting the monthly note. Some have AT&T or Bellsouth Email addresses, but some have Gmail, and there appear to be some in the group with AT&T who are getting the notices each month.     3. This kind of thing happens when people accidentally or intentionally mark an email as spam, not realizing they need to unsubscribe. It use to be that when an email got marked as spam by a certain amount of people using the same provider, the next level up the food chain of the user's provider would black ball the email address. The more it got marked as spam, the higher up the food chain the email address got blocked. It takes time and money to go back in to these black lists to remove email addresses from black lists. I believe that this is what is going on with AT&T and their many levels of email providers. This has been an ongoing problem for years with other providers. Unless each user is willing to contact their provider and ask that the email address be removed from the black lists, or rootsweb goes to each of the providers requesting that it be removed, nothing will happen. When a company I worked for had this happen, it took me many hours on both the phone, writing letters and emails to get their email removed from the black lists. It is difficult and takes time.     3. Thank you to all that responded. I appreciate the information. I have 22 (at)sbcglobal.net listers. I polled them to see if they are getting posts. Haven't had much response, but so far: - 2 not receiving posts for some time - 1 receiving posts - 2 non-deliverables So, I hope more respond. A little bit of trivia - out of approximately 800 listers, - about 200 are GMAIL - about 100 are various YAHOO addresses - COMCAST, AOL and HOTMAIL each have about 50 listers Darlene D
