If I type rootsweb.com into my browser I am redirected to ancestry.com. If I search on rootsweb I find that the rootsweb home page is https://home.rootsweb.com/ This seems a little odd to me. I think Anne covered this sometime ago. The rootsweb.ancestry was being dropped in favor of the home.rootsweb. I typed like you did into my browser but didn't get your result. I was taken immediately to the RW home page.
