The kicker to this is that the V.A. can not put out any information on this law. It has to be done by word of moth or letters from one veteran to another. I checked this all out and it is true. > If you have not registered at a V.A. Hospital since Oct 1, 1996 and if you do not registered with them before Oct.1, 1998 you will lose all medical benefits for life. To register you need DD-214 form. I called my county V.A. section and they are mailing the forms to me. Check either with the county V.A. section or with the V.A. Hospital near you. You can also call any V.A. Office for help on this.
