The way I've been doing it is to post, then copy the post into an email and add the link to the board post, and remind the list members that they can "subscribe" to the Message Board if they want. Since the gateways are being dismantled and will not return, I think this is the best (as listowners) we can do. Use the boards and lists together and keep reminding our list members about the boards. I might start mentioning in my board posts that I'll be posting on the list as well, since many board posters have no clue about lists.
