Can anyone out there tell me how to give up a specific list under this new system so it will return to RootsWeb? Whenever the dust settles after all of this transition confusion settles down I want to consider giving up some of my lists, but at some future time when I can give it some thought as to which one(s). Too much going on right now. I presume to transfer it to someone else, I simply add him/her as second "Owner" and then remove myself. David E. Cann [email protected]
I hope your not giving up because of this problem getting lists confirmation done. I had that feeling for awhile too. Just think of the possible help to folks your experience is worth. Dan or James, Not really. Just retired 11 years and getting to a point in life where I look toward eliminating unwanted frustration. I rather enjoy the lists after 20 years though and if I do give some up it will be hard to do, but I just want to find out the proper way to do it if and when I decide to do it. Do you know? David E. If you wish to give up a list for adoption, send me the names of the lists and I will move them into that queue. If you wish to transfer them to someone else, then add that person as an owner and delete yourself as an owner. If you wish to remain as a moderator, add yourself as a moderator first.
