    3. At least you still have your Mindspring address. They canceled my telepath.com email. I had 6 addresses. I had one telepath.com account since I first got on the internet in 1996. The name already existed at Earthlink so I had to lose that one. The ISP was bought by two other ISPs before it was sold to Earthlink. I also lost my personal website on telepath.com. The only good thing was my monthly charge went from $24.95 to $9.95 a month because I have email only. 3. and still no Rootsweb mail being received on this account.  And, again, on one list that I admin, I am getting the digests sent to my gmail address and not this one or my new Outlook account where the digests are suppose to go.  I only use gmail for single posts and normally have digests to go pacbell so I can see both formats.  When ATT stopped getting Rootsweb post, I opened up Outlook for the diaries as a temporary work around.  This morning the digest for the Brooklyn list went to Outlook, as I designated and also to Gmail which I have designated for single posts only but, of course, not to my ATT account. -- Pat Connors https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www.connorsgenealogy.com&d=DwIDaQ&c=kKqjBR9KKWaWpMhASkPbOg&r=QqKR_1oid-wv3O1GFus6ukhkWVArI2oTvHi2_JUm6dE&m=8HsE4H6-i328_rWfE6NZorP4p8Ook_KIdeZMk2Rn39E&s=b1mYCUf4b7U1AtDZygpmLAVXBVWvtfR8U6i31vWywgg&e=

    2. RW Mailing Lists
    3. David, I answer emails when I can. I have many responsibilities at Ancestry, RootsWeb mailing lists is just one of them. Also, our highest priority on RootsWeb right now is to get World Connect functioning fully. As for the ban that AT&T is lifting, note that the ban or blacklisting was done by ATT, not by us. We do not ban any domain. I will have to investigate the Earthlink issue. Amazon is our hosting service. Like many companies, we use Amazon's' Cloud Service as our datacenter. This is very common and allows us to grow quickly when we need to. Also as the RootsWeb products are owned, funded and maintained by Ancestry, that is why you see the RootsWeb mail servers associated with Ancestry. RootsWeb mailing lists are a massive spam challenge. I would estimate about 80 to 90% of all incoming email is spam. It is a constant battle on our part to block it. Also, just a point of etiquette for everyone on the mailing lists. Typing in all caps is considered yelling and is not a great way to get people to listen to you. I suggest civility at the very list if you want to discuss problems. I will post when I have figured out if Earthlink is blacklisting RootsWeb. Anne -----Original Message----- From: David E. Earthlink (my ISP) has the same identical problem, and a very helpful Level 3 Technician from there proved to me that RootsWeb's list mail on servers owned by RW, Ancestry, and Amazon (YES, I SAID AMAZON) ALL had known international spam and/or hacking devices on them, and THAT IS THE REASON SO MANY LEGITIMATE service providers have been blocking us. . . . . including Earthlink. WILL THE BLOCK BY EARTHLINK ON RW BE RELEASED AS WELL, or just AT&T? You specifically say "att.net and sbcglobal.net (and any other att property)" below, but you leave out any mention whatever of Earthlink, who owns my infionline.net domain. You also have not replied to my earlier message on the subject, but that is no surprise since I do not receive any email sent from any rootsweb.com email address. David E. 3. Anne, No mention of EARTHLINK (my ISP), but there definitely is a ban there as well. Will that one be lifted too? I sure hope so. David E. 3. Anne, What about THE SAME IDENTICAL BAN on MY service provider that I wrote to you about earlier today? David E. Pat, That is ProofPoint, and is one of the potential problems I was able to identify in the headers. That said, I am guessing the DKIM failure is the more important. Pat Asher

    3. I had a thought last night that I want to share.  The problem with the ATT email not being delivered started around the same time that Rootsweb started including the 'links safe' program.  I am wondering if it is possible that their code is interfering with the ATT email delivery.  I have sent this idea on to Anne Mitchelle but she is out of the office till end of October.  Any opinions on this idea? -- Pat Connors https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www.connorsgenealogy.com&d=DwIDaQ&c=kKqjBR9KKWaWpMhASkPbOg&r=QqKR_1oid-wv3O1GFus6ukhkWVArI2oTvHi2_JUm6dE&m=SkTdFltFFox7WXeCzNyd76Puff7bhKuMk6dmo5Hi_78&s=rpKeeInQZmpDge2zn8P7V5XbRSpEo7PkFqRaonjqzzE&e=
