    3. That wasn't how I remember Anns post on the subject It was more along the lines of those smaller lists with no posts for several months or more, I do not recall admins or lack thereof being mentioned And it was to close those lists from further posts and subscribers, not delete them, the archives for all lists would remain available Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 02/01/2019 19:04, Jim Jackson wrote: > Does this mean there will be no list of Lists available for adoption? I see what you mean Jim Other surname letters appear to show the complete list but B doesn't There is a BOON and BOONE lists and a BOONE-DANIEL-KY none of which appear under the B listings M also seems short stopping at MCDONALD How many others I haven't checked, looked like a glitch in the search results not showing page 2 etc Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 02/01/2019 19:24, Jim Jackson wrote: > I noticed, when clicking on "B" for the list of "B" surname lists, that the > last name given is "Birdwell" with no visible means of going to the next > page. 3. I believe the lists were down starting 12/31/2018 before 7:40 PM and continuing for at least 18 - 20 hours.  When they came back up prior posts were released by MailMan.  The time shown on the e-mails is the time they were sent by the poster. The lists might have been down for almost 2 days, but I'm not sure. 3. Bull.! In the old lists settings the setting for list or private replies was in the rootsweb mail man setting. Plus a blurb about why not to use the reply to list. Not all people use Thunderbird. Not all phones have reply to options. Not all phones or tablets give a choice of email program to use. Best bet. Fix the old settings or reninstall the mailman that works?
