What will not work is allowing those through now. They are not in plain text, not human-readable, and Anne has asked us to discard them. I believe a few people have tried allowing them, but they never arrive to the list. Anne has told us that there are no plans to bring the gateways back. For each of my lists which used to be gatewayed, I wrote to the list and reminded the subscribers where the board is and asked them to subscribe *on the board* to be notified of posts to it. I also mentioned that if they want to post to the board, and then copy their *own* posts into an email and send it to the list, and even include the link to the post if there are images, etc. they want to share, that is fine. 3. Thanks, The problem appears to be that the "Search" facility is not working. If I search on "Ian Marr" (without the quotes) the latest message I get is a month ago, then four years ago. If I'm logged into Ancestry, I can also use the boards, but can't administer. 3. Thanks Gene! This link works great! It takes me directly to My Favorites on the Message Boards, and the pages contain the Admin. Center. I'm bookmarking this link. Other than this issue, I've had no other problems with the new logins. I only use one email address for both RootsWeb and Ancestry, but I am also subscribed to some of the lists with 2-3 different email addresses, all of which are registered and which are linked correctly on My Subscriptions page. 3. When I posted to a list how to subscribe. David S suggested that people should sign to rootweb and not ancestry. Pretty much say that subscription is there. I use it for my ancestry subscription and the rootsweb sign in for lists. Just signed in. Listed all my email address and the is now a full list of all my admin lists and lists I am a member to. I followed the directions on rootsweb home page.
