Hi Keith, Thanks for the reply - I did Google the term and found a multitude of options - I'm particularly interested in the option applicable to the Rootsweb Listowner options. I thought there might be some relevant help options but still not finding anything. I was hoping other Listowners new what worked for Banned Emails on Rootsweb. Regards ... Hi Allan Yes I reported it a while back, although tongue in cheek style It was always the case in the old archives, only it wasn't as obvious as the archives were shown in the way they are now Its due to the poster having their clock incorrectly set, we don't usually have that problem these days Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 04/10/2018 17:38, allan_raymond--- via LISTOWNERS wrote: > Not sure if this has been reported before, but some archives are showing years into the future. > > This applies to some of my lists plus for example this list (i.e. LISTOWNERS). That's reactive though, by that time you already have a message distributed with the undesirable subject line and, as happened on this list, others may follow up on that post. My solution is proactive, it prevents the messages ever going out to the list. It also only has to be done once and immediately covers all list subscribers. Why should it be? When subscribers do that in my lists, I simply go into admin and change their status from digest to regular. Not sure if this has been reported before, but some archives are showing years into the future. This applies to some of my lists plus for example this list (i.e. LISTOWNERS). This particular list shows archives for 2056, 2094 & 2098, any idea if this problem is in hand for a resolution?

It stopped working almost immediately, he only released the email that was held. Yesterday, I got back on ATT Chat for over an hours and went though clearing my filter box in Yahoo. Thought that was the fix. Today, when open up my computer, I found all my Rootsweb mail was sent to my google account. I just spent a hour checking all my subscriptions and mysteriously many have switched my email address from this one to my gmail account. Still have a lot to change back but need to get off computer.
