    3. Ya, figured that. Was just trying to figure why I had them. Also one list I originated years ago no longer shows me as owner. Kinda curious about  that too so I associated all my email addresses just incase it was another. But that did not change it. 3. Paul, Can't answer your question, but I had the same issue with my 2 email addresses, one of which is solely for my digest posts on my owned list. In my case, they were done by someone "helping me," but I discovered it when I started getting DUPLICATES OF ALL MODERATION NOTICES. David E. 3. Change yourlist to the list name https://lists.rootsweb.ancestry.com/postorius/accounts/list-options/yourlist.rootsweb.com/ Below are all my default options What do you have for? Receive own postings Yes for now yes, after fixed no Avoid Duplicates yes Delivery status Enabled Set this option to Enabled to receive messages posted to this mailing list. Set it to Disabled if you want to stay subscribed, but don't want mail delivered to you for a while (e.g. you're going on vacation). If you disable mail delivery, don't forget to re-enable it when you come back; it will not be automatically re-enabled. Delivery mode regular If you select summary digests , you'll get posts bundled together (usually one per day but possibly more on busy lists), instead of singly when they're sent. Your mail reader may or may not support MIME digests. In general MIME digests are preferred, but if you have a problem reading them, select plain text digests. Receive own postings Yes Ordinarily, you will get a copy of every message you post to the list. If you don't want to receive this copy, set this option to No. Acknowledge posts No Receive acknowledgement mail when you send mail to the list? Hide address No When someone views the list membership, your email address is normally shown (in an obscured fashion to thwart spam harvesters). If you do not want your email address to show up on this membership roster at all, select Yes for this option. Avoid Duplicates Yes No When you are listed explicitly in the To: or Cc: headers of a list message, you can opt to not receive another copy from the mailing list. Select Yes to avoid receiving copies from the mailing list; select No to receive copies. -----Original Message----- From: Lin Duke <[email protected]> To: listowners <[email protected]> Sent: Sat, Apr 7, 2018 2:40 pm Subject: [LO]Missing posts Some of my posts are in the archives but I'm not getting a copy. 2. David E. Cann
    3. Anne, I know you and your colleagues are busier than anyone wants to be, but what are the chances of removing the OLD footers we all put at the bottom of our lists prior to 1 March? The information is not only conflicting with Mailman 3, but as of 1 March it is actually WRONG. I am about to begin writing a note to my lists as you asked us to do, but after twenty years as a List Admin I just know what is going to happen when I become a List OWNER and tell everyone there is a new set of rules and procedures to follow when I HAVE MANY OF THE OLD RULES STILL AT THE BOTTOM OF LIST POSTS. PLEASE give it some thought. I am about to start sending the NEW info and links to folks now, but I hope all of them will FORGET THE OLD RULES WE ARE STILL POSTING ON LIST MAIL. Ole saying (cleaned up version) that I learned in the Marine Corps --> "When you are up to your *** in alligators, it makes it impossible to keep your mind on the fact your primary mission is to drain the swamp." My wife gave me a look like I was nuts, * she said, do you kow how many web pages you will have to edit?* so, keeping rootsweb is it.  I  will still have to edit pages maybe tho?   I also noticed the conversations since Anne got here, pretty pleasant. I see a very small subscription to the LO list, too bad all list admin are not here in this important time.
