Gabbie, Your birth date for William ( Nov 21,1747) does not fit with the birth date for James Lindsey (b 1768 in a Scottish settlement in NC) who is the oldest ancester in the Lindsey book. Maybe your 'william is his father? However, it is odd that all the Williams have Nov 21 as their date of birth with different years. I don't have any information beyond James (b 1768) and what is in the Lindsey Book. It would be interesting if your information precedes the book Lindsey family. I appreciate the information on the County for the Scottish settlement, if indeed we are dealing with the same family. How do we make the connection between Gabbie's information and the Lindsey Book family? Keith
