hi, i am the list admin for both the lindsey and lindsay list. rootsweb set up the lindsey even tho i asked them to please keep just the one list, so i adopted the lindsey too in order to keep up with posts lindsey/ay and help others to keep up as well. Most of the spelling changes occurred before 1900, so if you have ancestors from 1900 to present the ey or the ay probably stuck, altho i wouldn't guarantee it. visiting the lindsay archives is definitely worth the time, so please do use this service from roots web. http://archiver.rootsweb.com/ access any archive by letter access Lindsay-L http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/LINDSAY msgs 1996-Apr 2001 happy huntin, josie At 10:30 PM 4/28/01 -0400, you wrote: >Sandra there are some of us who it is not '' old onfo ''.
