    3. Can someone clear up a question? I show multiple references of Thomas Lindsey (married to Hester "Little Grannie" Clark) as having been killed by Indians in Georgia in 1816 or 1818. If true, he could not have moved with the McCranie's in 1825. Unless, of course, Hester married another Thomas Lindsey (not impossible). Also, I have found a cluster of Lindseys in northern Alabama who served in the War of 1812. The given names (in my own search) are cause for excitement; they are John, Elijah and Thomas. These men are listed in a roster of men near Huntsville, Alabama, and served in the same unit. If anyone has these Lindseys, I would greatly appreciate hearing from them. 3. I don't know of any of this information. Never heard of the McCranie family. However, I do have a Lindsey book (The one I got all this information from from my previous email. I will have to look it up. Do you know of the Lindsey Book? I have pictures too. I also know this group came from Scottland in the late 1600's. The last name I have from the group was James Lindsey born in 1700 and married a Sarah Daniels. They had 5 sons and 1 daughter. One of the sons was John Lindsey who married Sarah Walker who had the Thomas Lindsey who married Hester Clark. -----Original Message----- From: Philip Lindsey [mailto:galloglas@pars.net] Sent: Thursday, April 19, 2001 12:02 PM To: LINDSEY-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [LINDSEY] Ruth Ann Dunn-Lindsey/Lindsay Can someone clear up a question?
