Hi Phil, Thanks for responding. I am trying to send this, but on my screen the print looks so very small -- I hope you can read it. Let me know if you can't. However I can tell you the answer to your question and that may be all you want anyway. He was born Jan. 16, 1832. Gramma Lou Wesley Asberry Lindsey Generation No. 1 1. Wesley Asberry3 Lindsey (Jacob Abrell2, Jacob1) (Source: (1) LDS Family Search Ancestral File, "Electronic," (AFN:B5CO-V9)., (2) Ancestry.com, "Electronic," Gmjackie49@aol.com.) was born Jan 16, 1832 in Near Macon, Bibb, GA (Source: Carmen Davis, "Electronic."), and died in Dustin, OK (Source: (1) Carmen Davis, "Electronic," "Letter #2 from John Alice Alzena Lindsey Leggett, says he moved to Ark. I am assuming he died there.", (2) Sally Lucius, "Electronic," ""I received a letter from one of Talithia Jane Lindsey Davis grandson, Carroll Glen Davis back in 1995.....any way, he said that Wesley Asberry Lindsey came to Arkansas and went on to Dustin, Oklahoma and died threre...."). He married (1) Cyntha Robinson (Source: (1) Carmen Davis, "Electronic.", (2) Sally Lucius, "Electronic."), daughter of Arther Robinson and Elizabeth Lindsey. She was born Unknown (Source: Carmen Davis, "Electronic."). He married (2) Frances (Lindsey) Bef. 1854 (Source: 1860 Calhoun MS Federal Census, (19 Aug. 1860).). She was born Abt. 1838 in Mississippi, and died Unknown. He married (3) Emmaline Hunt (Source: (1) Eloise Fretz Potter & Timothy Wiley Rackley, RACKLEY, A SOUTHERN COLONIAL FAMILY, (Potter Publication Services, 9433 Baker Rd., Zebulon, NC), 375., (2) Felicia Gourdin & Clara Hunt Miller, HUNT Gedcom File, "Electronic.") Abt. 1855 (Source: Internet, "Electronic," http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Lane/1191/d0004/g0000031. html#1971.), daughter of Moses Hunt and Malinda Redwine. She was born Abt. 1834 in Bibb, GA (Source: (1) Internet, "Electronic," Family Search, group record., (2) Courtney Tompkins, "Electronic," <tompkin@c2i2.com>, b. abt 1836 in MS.). Notes for Wesley Asberry Lindsey: In the 1840 Census, Wesley A. is listed as age 8, which would have made him born in 1832 and he had a brother named Isaac S. who was 4 (1836). Wesley was born in Georgia according to this census. In the August 19th, 1860 Census, Wesley is listed as being age 28 (1832). His son "Cornelius Linsey" is listed as being born in 1857 which is two years earlier than thought to be his birth year, if this is indeed my grandfather. Wesley's wife is named "Frances" and my grandparents named their second daughter "Frances". My Grandparent's first daughter was named "Dovie" which , I assume, is a variation on the maiden name of my grandmother, which was "Dover." In this 1860 Census, Wesley was listed as a Farmer with the value of his personal property listed as $200. .Listed just ahead of them in the census is an Isaac S. Linsey, age 24 (1836), married to an Elizabeth, who could be Wesley's brother and the namesake of "Isaac Cornelius Lindsey" Also, just above them is listed a "Jacob Linsey", age 54, who could have been the father of both Wesley and Isaac Linsey. He also had a son named William, born in 1856 who could have been named for his brother, William M. (1838).I also wonder if the "M" could have stood for "Madison" the name of one of my Grandfather's sons. Or "Mansel" another son. 1860 Census -- Roll 578 pg. (103)639 Aug. 19, Calhoun Co.
