Hello Lindsey Researchers, I have a book, Lindsey Family History, published by the American Genealogical Research Institute, 1235 Kenilworth Avenue, NE, Washington, DC 20019. The publisher was Heritage Press, Inc. Chapter 2 lists immigrants who immigrated in or prior to 1800. They were: Anthony Lindsey from Newgate Prison to Maryland Christopher Lindsey from Scotland to America David Lindsey to Virginia Donald Lindsey [or Lindsay] from Scotland to America James Lindsey [or Lindsay] from Scotland to America Mary Lindsey from England to Virginia Richard Lindsey from Newgate Prison to Virginia Robert Lindsey to Virginia Robert Lindsey [or Lindsay] from Bristol, England to Virginia William Lindsey [or Lindsay] from Boreland, Scotland to New York I do not have descendent charts for these immigrants. However, in some cases, the book lists dates and ship the immigrant was transported on. Chapter 6 lists short biographies for Daniel Weisiger Lindsey (4 October 1835 - 4 August 1917) Stephen Decatur Lindsey (3 March 1828 - 26 April 1884) Washington Ellsworth Lindsey (20 December 1862 - 5 April 1926) William Lindsey (12 August 1858 - 25 November 1922) William Lindsey (4 September 1835 - 15 October 1909) Please write for additional information. Hi Denise, Could you possibly give me information on David Lindsey, who immigrated to VA. I am trying to track down ancestry for my Samuel Lindsey who was born in VA and hopefully this is part of it.
