Edward (csa) settled with mother and two sisters 1860 Blount County, Alabama. One sister lost arm in Cotton Gin they are unmarried and in their 40's 1880 Blount County, ala. Edward married Melinda Burns dau of John R. Burns and Elizabeth Bradford. Edward went to serv. in the Civil War and is recorded there during a census taken by the County about 1862. He and Melinda had Two son's George Edward Lindsey and James William Lindsey and a bunch of daughters have to go to work will list later.....Lynn Labove
