She was born March 28, 1912 in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of the late Lonnie and Florence Tom Lindamood. She was an active member of the Maranatha Bible Church on Chandlersville Road. She was also a member of the "Care for your Neighbor" group. Edith was a fine Christian lady and was always an encouragement to all who knew her. She will be missed by family and friends. She is survived by daughters, Annette (Paul) Vanhorn of Zanesville and Debbie (Bob) Sasser of Florida; son Donald (Linda) Jones of Zanesville; daughter-in-law Anna Mae Jones of Mt. Sterling, OH; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one neice; and one nephew. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Glenn E. Jones; sons Kenneth G. Jones and Ronald D. Jones; sister, Winifred Morton; and two grandchildren. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, Zanesville, Ohio. Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Maranatha Bible Church with Pastor Dale McCallister officiating. Interment will be at Chandlersville Cemetery, Chandlersville, Ohio.
