    3. Hello Claire, I went to GENUKI and found the following regarding Bo'ness and Linlithgowshire (West Lothian). It seems to me that if he was Christened/Born in Bo'ness in 1845 and then in 1881 is showing up in Edinburgh it very well may be the fellow. As it shows here Edinburgh is only 24 miles away. Probably went there for work or something. I don't think though that Edinburgh and Bo'ness would be considered the same. Edinburgh is in a different shire/county...."Midlothian" Civil Registration in Scotland is from 1855 and records are from the GRO in Edinburgh. I would suggest renting the Parish register for Bo'ness in West Lothian and look there. If there is an LDS Family History Library near you, you can get the register films through them. It doesn't cost but a couple of dollars. I hope this helps some. Do you know who (aside from the names you were able to find in the Batch Files) his siblings were or who he married? This is the address where I got the info: http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/sct/WLN/index.html#Towns Borrowstounness or Bo'ness, a town and a parish of NW Linlithgowshire (West Lothian). All for now, Best Wishes, Sandy At 10:04 PM 08/11/2004 -0400, you wrote: >Good Evening Sandy..... > >I must kindly thank you for your wonderful assistance with the IGI and batch >numbers, I went back and did a search for other children of Robert LIDDLE & >Agnes and got quite a few hits > >I have what could be a silly question.
