Boy, if ever there was a Scot-sounding name, you have it. Thanks for the insight but we ex-colonials have to sometimes deal with information 200+years old, you know. (I'm assuring that you are still in the "old country" as we say in America. Gosh, I may not be getting much response to the DNA proposal but the posting sure is bring in new Liddell-related contacts. And your's is very interesting because several American Liddells, including myself, and an Englishman are beginning to try to sort out the Scot Liddells of the 1600s and earlier, if possible. I don't know if the team approach has ever been tried before but it is going to be tried in this instance.
