Andrew Liddell according to this paper which I will send was the son of John Docherty and Helen Liddell - he took Helen's surname - you can read all that in the paper but you need fairly strong glasses. Ada Jane was married to another person first and came by the surname Staples through her first marriage. Hi Pat, Sorry about the double up in the message but thank you so much for the information that you have been able to find. I will certainly try and track Malcolm Liddell for the information that he has. Unfortunately my Dad died in 1985 which was before I was interested in family history so I feel I am flying blind with a lot of this.
