    3. The 1850 Scott County AR Census has Claiborn Lewis and family from TN/KY in dwelling 271 of Hickman Township. Next door is Jonathon Haynes and family(Harriet Lewis, his wife died 1855) in dwelling 272 of Tumlinson Township. Previously both families were landowners in Washington County. Someone(I lost the email) had contacted me from this list or the Scott Cty one about a possible relationship between Harriet Lewis and Samuel and Bricey Lewis of VineyardTownship Washington Cty AR. There are 2 other Lewis families in Scott County AR in 1850 of interest. Joseph Lewis and wife Ruina, including sons John,19 Josiah,14 and James,10 are from TN/NC and are in dwelling 421 Boon Township. Close by in dwelling 452 of Boon Township is Obediah Lewis and wife Margaret, with a son James C. 2 yrs old. We think the Boon township Lewises may be related to Samuel Lewis of Washington County, Vineyard Township. You might check the Logan County AR Marriage Records1877-1924 book by Emily Tucker available from Arkansas Research too. We have some Washburn Sebastian County AR Lewises in it that were married in Logan County.
