I just emailed the staff at FTDNA to bring the Trojan virus to their attention in case Janet Crain has had problems in getting in touch with them. I am sure they will take care of the problem. I most likely will hear back from FTDNA.   I know what this means because my computer crashed not long ago because I clicked on the wrong email which had trojans too. I had to take my computer to Geeksquad to get it out.   Marianne Dillow

Thanks Marianne for getting this information to the right people. My husband has contacted Trend Micro PC-cillin (our virus protector makers) and they too are following up on these Trojan's. They were unaware of these particular 4. We sent them the Lewis Project DNA site address as well as all the information my husband learned as he fixed my system so hopefully they will develop a protection from them and the site can get cleaned. As I said I can't be absolutely positive this site was the cause of my problems but everything points to it. I know the staff at  FTDNA very well as my Mother is a Lewis  and her line has been tested  there and I tested two other family lines there plus my pwn female mtDNA. I have my own page there with my results.   The FTDNA staff are great. i know they will get right on it. I can't say enough good stuff about their staff. They are a good company and this is the first I have heard of this happening there. There are a lot that have tested at FTDNA on the genealogy-dna mailing list and many are admins over other projects there . so everyone has been warned.
