Some of the family did move to I believe around the Yuba City area and Sutters Mill. My research right now is centered around Ward Hall Lemon who was from Illinois and President Lincoln's body guard. The Lewis family I believe are from Col Andrew Lewis and the Crawford family might be from Col William H Crawford. These families have a heavy Pittsburgh PA connection. If you really look at this, all these families are interconnected one way or the other including the southern families of Jefferson Davis and Robert E Lee.
