When I lived in Bordentown, NJ the local Bordentown Historical Society was located in a former Friends meeting house. When I visited the Uwchlan Friends Meeting House grave yard in Chester County, PA I was a bit disappointed that there were not many grave markers. I later found out that the Friends did not believe in marking graves with headstones. Have you figured out if the Isaac Lewis in Salem County, NJ was a Quaker or not? If this Isaac Lewis was a Quaker there is likely Quaker Meeting House records for the meeting house he belonged to. Check out the Swarthmore (College) Friends Historical Library for Quaker Meeting House records, they have a number of Quaker Meeting House Records. I also highly recommend the book "Our Quaker Ancestors: Finding Them in Quaker Records" by Ellen Thomas Berry and David Allen Berry, published by Genealogical Pu! blishing Co.
