I have a copy of an old Bible page which shows several LEWIS' with birth dates, etc. Will type up a list and send it to you. Regarding Morris, do you know if he arrived in Canada on a ship named the "Sally"? I have a record which shows three LEWIS' sailing out of Dutchess Co. to Canada in 1784 or 1785. Lastly, how much LEWIS information do you have on those who lived in/around Dutchess Co., NY? Any information you might have may well help me establish a lineage from James LEWIS (b. Nov. 1801) back through Thomas LEWIS (born abt. 1760). Incidentally, one of James LEWIS' daughters was named Rachel (probably not coincidental if his father married one...and names are reused frequently).
