    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: mwhitcroaker Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.lewis/6800.1.2.2.2.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Oates Lewis. The High Ridge Cemetery is an old abandoned cemetery that is located within 10 miles of the Lewis Cemetery and the King Cemetery. I was looking for Whittington tombstones - my husband's family - and noticed this tombstone because my gggrandfather was Necy Lewis, born in Duplin Co., NC. He came to this area in the 1830's. The Kings came here in the late 1820's to early 30's. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 3. I'm related to many of the Duplin Co, NC Lewis and am not familiar with Necy. Have you by chance participated in the DNA project? thanks; Tammy On Oct 20, 2009, at 1:22 PM, gc-gateway@rootsweb.com wrote: > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Author: mwhitcroaker > Surnames: > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.lewis/6800.1.2.2.2.1/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > Oates Lewis.
