Lewis, Norman A. Lewis, 89, of 13559 Cherry Tree Court, Fort Myers, Fla., and formerly of 609 California Drive, Erie, Pa., passed away on August 31, 2009. Born in Washington Township, Erie County, Pa., on January 3, 1920, he was the son of the late Cameron and Myrtle Long Lewis. Mr. Lewis attended school at McKean High School, McKean, Pa.. He was employed at Eazor Express both as a driver and in sales for 18 ½ years. Norm was a member of Elmwood Avenue Presbyterian Church in Erie, and the Church at Siesta Bay in Fort Myers. He served as an usher at both churches. He was a member of Perry-Keystone Lodge No. 392 F. & A.M., Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Erie. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Mildred E. Lewis, and his two brothers, Almond C. Lewis, and Wilbur D. Lewis. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Shoemaker Lewis, three sons: Robert L. Lewis and his wife Rae Louise of Erie, Thomas D. Lewis and his wife Glenda of Macclenny, Fla., and Ronald G. Lewis and his wife Lisabeth of Lake City, Pa. ; two step-daughters: Janice Johnston and her husband Mark, and Barbara Strocko and her husband Steven. Also surviving are several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Fort Myers, Fla..
