His parents were John Lewis and Isabella Miller. Documents do exist and can be found on the internet but right now I have no time to look them up. John Lewis' (husband of Isabella Miller) parents were John Lewis (the emmagrant) and Johane Lewis (second cousin). I refer you to the book "The Welsh Lineage of John Lewis (1592-1657) Emigrant to Goucester, Virginia" by Grace McLean Moses.
