Born in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales 25th March 1906. He married my Grandmother ( a Catherine Lower) before divorcing her after the War. During the war he was a prisoner of war in Germany, having been in the merchant navy returning to Britain very ill. He had 2 daughters by my Grandmother ( Catherine); a Margaret and Phyllis, no sons. I've never seen a photo of him but believe he had a number of brothers and sisters. That's all I know at the moment. Does this sound familiar?
