My Lewis line is the line that came from Mass to Connecticut to Susquehanna County in Pennsylvania. I didn't know of any Lewis lines that descended from George that went on to NC or SC. Could you tell me which line it is that is believed to have done this? In this second part of my post I would like to ask you a few questions about the DNA testing. I know one requirement is that it has to be a male that gets tested. Are there any other requirements such as they must have the Lewis surname? Also, please forgive my ignorance, but how is it possible to link modern day DNA to the DNA of George Lewis of the 1600's?
