Married Martha (Mattie) Harman. His father was Jacob Lewis born 2/22/1846, died 2/5/1942. Born in Shelby, OH. Died in Shelby, Ohio. Married Amanda Knouse. His father was William Lewis born 5/7/1820, died 10/22/1893. Lived in Carroll, OH. Died in Manhattan, KS. Married Mary Ann Brubaker, then her sister Sarah Jane Brubaker. His father was Joseph Lewis born born around 1794, died 1/6/1873. Born in Westmoreland County, PA. Died in Butler, IN. Married Elizabeth Masters from England. His father supposedly was Jonathan, who some records say came from Germany. My brother has had the Family Tree DNA testing done and we're definitely from Wales, so I don't know where Jonathan was really born. I've seen records that he was born in PA too. This is where I'm stuck. I've never been able to figure out where they were before PA.
