I am referring to the uncle Alexander Lewis who raised (from notes of Neydine Pille's mother) his sister, Sarah Elizabeth Lewis, b. 27 April 1837, Covington, Campbell Co., Ky. who was the 3rd wife of Jacob VanDusen b. 20 March 1819 Covington, Campbebell Co., Ky., son of Isaac VanDusen.... Beryl Fettig was never able to make a connection to John Lewis during her lifetime...She had once told me that the her father told her the Lewis' were from Wales....
