Their son was Andrew Lewis, b1648 Donegal Co. Ulster, Ireland. Wife, Mary Calhoun,b1652. Their son John b 1680 married Margaret Linn, b. 1698. The only connection I have found to Meriwether is Elizabeth Lewis (Thomas,John,Andrew,William)she was born 1783 and married Thomas Meriweher Gilmer, son of Peachy Ridgeway Gilmer and Mary Meriwether. Came to Ohio, Trumbull County. Married a Lottie Jones in 1868, and a Mary Ann Lewis approx. 1878. She also came from Wales.
