Lewis, born ca. 1800 in Maryland (possibly Kemptown area). Married Nancy Walker, Nov. 26, 1822 in Montgomery County, Maryland. She was the daughter of Basil Walker and Mary Boswell. George and Nancy Lewis had the following children: Basil Washington, b. June 2, 1833, m. Cornelia Wiles, (this is my great-great grandfather) and later settled in Jefferson MD, Margaret Ann, m. Reuben Johnson; Sarah, b. 1831, m. John Q. Watts. George died before 1850. He was a blacksmith, and they lived in the Unity-Tridelphia area of Montgomery County. Nancy Lewis is buried at Roxbury Mills, Maryland. Any information on George or his family would be greatly appreciated.
