    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: abrlarry82 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.lewis/7918.1.2.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Kathy, many thanks for your response. I'm excited that I have a new second cousin. My five brothers and sisters will be quite pleased as well. I would love to connect with any Lewis group to share information. As a side note, I submitted my DNA and I now have it back. My tree shows that 34-year old Francis Ward Lewis married 17-year old Maria Emigdia Ramona Guevara in Santa Barbara in 1850. I see this on your tree as well. Interestingly, I have no Mexican DNA which is where I assume Maria came from (her family does). I'd like to know more about this. I'm 96% European (50% Ireland, 25% Western European and 16% England). The remaining 3% is Western Asia and 1% American Indian. I'd sure like to know more about the Western Asia DNA. I don't see it thus far in my research. As for the American Indian thing, my father was born in Tampa, Florida and he always told us that we had a great "grandmammy" living back in the swamps. He told us that we were part Seminole. Again, so nice to hear from you. I live in Elk Grove and I'm frequently in the Silicon Valley. I drive down 680 almost every week. My email is [email protected] We could meet at Peet's on Railroad Ave. for coffee some afternoon. Larry Smith. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
