And, I knew him through our high-school reunions, etc. When I met him in the 1990's, he said he was not interested in that part of his family-tree. I've been researching my family-tree for 20 yrs., and I know that my LEWIS great-grandparents were born ~1860 in Liverpool, England. They were sent to Canada as teens ~1874. They married in Nova Scotia in 1879, and migrated to MA in 1881. I know that a great many LEWIS' were descended from the LEWIS families of 1600's New England. I've wanted to find out if my friend was "distantly related" to me for a long time. But, it wasn't until this month that I found out what his father's and grandfather's first name were. That is because my friend just "passed." I've tried looking on-line and surprisingly there were several men, named Horace LEWIS in the records. I believe the grandfather was Horace E. LEWIS, born in 1870's. He seems to have lived in Arlington, MA, or at least in Greater Boston, MA. I was wondering if anyone knew of this family, and knew of their family-tree.
