I've "rescued" an old photograph album which appears to have belonged to the HONEYMAN Family of Oregon. The album contains approximately 54 photographs including 1 funeral card, many of the photographs identified as members of the HONEYMAN Family including: Walter HONEYMAN Tom HONEYMAN Jim HONEYMAN Isabella DENMILE HONEYMAN Thomas HONEYMAN Jim RUTHERFORD MARY HONEYMAN BISET ARTHUR & BRUCE HONEYMAN ETTA HONEYMAN RUTH HONEYMAN BARKER KENNETH HONEYMAN Robert Scott GRAHAM and his Father Based on limited research I have been able to gather the following information regarding this family: Walter Bennett HONEYMAN was b. 5 Apr 1877 in Portland, OR to parents William HONEYMAN (1840-1899) and Jane Clarke DAWSON (1838-1916). Walter married Myrtle Elizabeth WARD (1880-1970) and together they had a daughter Jane HONEYMAN WHISLER (1906-1979). Walter died 29 Dec 1960 in Silverton, OR and is buried in the Riverview Abbey Mausoleum and Crematory in Portland, OR. Thomas "Tom" Denmilne HONEYMAN was b. 11 Mar 1866 in St. Andrews, Scotland to parents William HONEYMAN (1840-1899) and Jane Clarke DAWSON (1838-1916). Tom was married first to Jessie M. LOCHHEAD on 5 Feb 1889 and together they had two girls, Mildred Genevieve HONEYMAN (b. 21 Sept 1890 in Portland, OR) and Grace Myrtle HONEYMAN (b. 21 Mar 1892). Tom's second marriage was to Ann Croall HUTCHEON (b. 7 Mar 1845 in Eau Claire, WI) on 18 Dec 1911 in Dayton, WA, they had one child. Tom died 17 Nov 1945 and is buried in the River View Cemetery in Portland, OR. James "Jim" D. HONEYMAN was b. 1868 to parents William HONEYMAN (1840-1899) and Jane Clarke DAWSON (1838-1916). Jim was brother to Thomas HONEYMAN (1866-1945); Walter Bennett HONEYMAN (1877-1960); David Taylor HONEYMAN (1880-1946); and Etta Jane HONEYMAN LEWIS ZAN (1884-1932). Jim married Myrtle I. HONEYMAN (1875-1968) and he died in 1942 and is buried in the Wilhelm's Portland Memorial in Portland, OR. Thomas HONEYMAN was b. 1803 in Cupar, Fife, Scotland to parents David HONEYMAN (b. 27 Dec 1771 in Monimail, Fife, Scotland) and Jean "Jane" AUGHTERLONIE (b. Ceres, Fife, Scotland). Thomas was one of 10 children born to this couple including, William; Charles; Agnes; Catherine; Jane; George; Janet; David; Alexander; and Thomas HONEYMAN all born between 1793 and 1803 in Scotland. Thomas married Isabella DENMILNE. James "Jim" Dawson RUTHERFORD was b. 25 May 1869 to Agnes Gibson DAWSON (1832-1924), he also had a brother, George Alexander RUTHERFORD (1867-1934). Jim died in Portland, OR in March 1913 and is buried in the River View Cemetery in Portland, OR. Mary HONEYMAN was b. abt 1845 in Ceres, Fifeshire, Scotland to parents Thomas HONEYMAN (1801-1881) and Isabella DENMILLN (1803-1881). Mary was one of 6 children born to this couple including, Margaret (1831-1913); David (1832-1920); Agnes (1839-1903); William (1841-1890); Isabella (1843-1911); and Mary HONEYMAN. Mary married George BISSET (b. 1853) and she died in Cupar Fife, Scotland on 27 Nov 1914. Arthur HONEYMAN was b. 17 Jul 1880 in Dundee, Scotland to parents Walter James HONEYMAN (1849-1904) and Jessie M. HONEYMAN (1852-1948). Arthur married Carlotta PARKER (1881-1956) and they had a son Arthur Alan HONEYMAN (1913-1973). Arthur had a brother Kenneth HONEYMAN (1899-1929). Arthur died 5 Feb 1950 in Portland, OR and is buried in the River View Cemetery in Portland, OR. At the time of his death he was also survived by two daughters, Barbara HIRSCH of NY; and Mrs. Robert Peyton SIBLEY of Glendora, CA; and 2 sons, Charles Parker HONEYMAN of Boston, MA; and Arthur Alan HONEYMAN of Portland, OR. His sister Mrs. Frederick A. BARKER of Brentwood, CA also survived him. Bruce Ritchie HONEYMAN was b. 30 Dec 1884 in Portland, OR and married Marian S. BLAKELY (1887-1960) and together they had two children, Eleanore HONEYMAN b. 1911; and Robert Blakely HONEYMAN (1914-2009). Bruce died in France on 5 Oct 1918. Etta Jane HONEYMAN was b. 25 Jan 1884 in Portland, OR to the same parents, married first David Chambers LEWIS (1867-1918) and second Jordan V. ZAN (1876-1966). Etta died in Phoenix, AZ on 7 Mar 1932 and is buried in the River View Cemetery in Portland, OR. Etta had a son Jordan ZAN Jr. Ruth Allen or Ellen HONEYMAN was b. 18 Jun 1887 or 1890 to parents Walter James HONEYMAN (1849-1904) and Jessie M. HONEYMAN (1852-1948). Ruth had 5 siblings, William HONEYMAN b. 1878, Arthur HONEYMAN b. 1880, Bruce R. HONEYMAN b. 1885, and Kenneth HONEYMAN b. 1890, and Grace Wallace HONEYMAN b. 1893. Ruth married Frederick "Freddie" Ambrose BARKER (1887-1959) and she died in Los Angeles, CA on 22 Apr 1965 and is buried in the River View Cemetery in Portland, OR. Kenneth HONEYMAN was b. 19 Sept 1899 in Portland, OR to parents Walter James HONEYMAN (1849-1904) and Jessie M. HONEYMAN (1852-1948). Kenneth died in Portland, OR on 20 Jun 1929 and is buried in the River View Cemetery in Portland, OR. Robert S. GRAHAM was b. 1892 in Seattle, WA to parents John GRAHAM (1854-1924) and Josephine E. SPENCER (1860-1925). Robert was one of 3 children born to this family including, John GRAHAM Jr. b. 1887; and Alva GRAHAM b. 1899. Robert died in San Francisco, CA on 22 Jul 1952. A funeral card in the album belongs to James Monroe BLOSSOM b. 30 Jul 1817 in Monmouth, ME, the son of Ansel BLOSSOM (1778-1850) and Mercy LADD (1782-1848). James died in Portland, OR on 14 Apr 1891 and is buried in the River View Cemetery in Portland, OR. I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that the album can be returned to the care of family.
