I am searching for the parents or any siblings of Samuel LEWIS (1830-1877). I believe, his middle name was COOK, but some sources list his middle initial as a "G". He lived in Stanstead, Quebec, Canada, married Sarah Ann PACKARD (1832- 1902) daughter of Moses PACKARD in 1849 in Stanstead. Moved to the US in 1869 and settled in Malcom, Powesheik, Iowa. He and 2 of his children (twins) died in November 1877 of smallpox and are buried there. His widow, Sarah and surviving children a son, Justus P. and daughter Clara Smith (widow of Lewis Smith) later settled in Hartford,CT. Any leads to his ancestors would be greatly appreciated.
