Through AncestryDNA I have dna links to descendants of Jacob's son John b.1771. Some of the information I have run across as you know shows a lot of conflicting information, a lot of them will show that Jacob & Sarah Avery Noland had 2 sons named Jacob, but a couple of names did come up that might help you. Through one of the Ancestry trees, I found someone that had listed Jacob b. 1778 married to Elizabeth Mary Avery b.1775 in VA and d. 1850 in Forsyth NC. Another had Jacob married twice, 1st to Elizabeth Mary Avery b.1847 in Indiana, no date of death, then married to Elizabeth Scarborough b. 1775 does not say where, and died in 1850 Forsyth NC. Dates don't match to the Jacob Lewis will, Elizabeth Avery in 2nd tree was born 30 years later, but if by chance this Elizabeth Avery & Elizabeth Scarborough were the same person, born in 1775, then this could ! be your Elizabeth in the 1812 will... So, if you run across any families named Avery or Scarborough that might be a path to travel down a bit... Anyway... you and I would be distant cousins, connected through our common Gr-Granparents John Lewis & Precilla Brooks and it's always good to make a new cousin connection. Take care, Byron Lewis Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
