Their was a small town their called Stillwater just east of Redding, CA. William was born about 1841 in Illinois somewhere. Him and his wife Anna were married in Adams County, Illinois 30 Mar 1873. I think they were married in the town of Quincy per a marriage license I have from that city. I have almost no other information on them from Illinois. They had one son born in Illinois before they migrated west. He was born, Joseph Walter Lewis on 26 May 1874. Shortly there after they moved west because of an 1880 Census they were in Yolo County, CA. Not sure where to go next. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
